For nine generations, our family has been farming oysters in Thau, in the Languedoc region of France, and was among the earliest pioneers of shellfish farming in the biggest lagoon in Europe.
Our grandfathers have been developing a unique savoir-faire since 1925, aimed at top quality production as well as the preservation of the environment.
Today, we are carrying on this tradition by offering exceptional products:
Oysters and mussels from our farm, family recipes of pariada (grilled fish), fish and shellfish à la plancha, stuffed mussels, grilled oysters, razor shells with parsley, as well as many other specialities, including Carole's delicious desserts … without, of course, forgetting, our facilities for groups and associations, and our famous Giant Seafood Platters for 10 to 120 people, whose reputation is well known all over Europe.
Leave the beaten tracks behind and, for a truly special moment, come to Le Récantou, Bouzigues, with your partner, family or friends, for a business meal, here on the water's edge, complete with panoramic view over the Thau lagoon, facing the hill standing high above Sète and our oyster beds. On a clear day, you can even make out the Pyrenees with their snow-capped peaks on your right, and then there are the unforgettable evenings when the full moon shines down on the water…
